THE HISTORICAL UNIFORM

On 18th June 2003 the band presented itself for the first time in their new uniform

According to instruction specified in the Army Museum in Delft, the 1888 historical uniform consists of:

 

Black shoes.

Nassau-blue trousers with a thin red band.

Dark blue tunic with a double row of copper buttons.

Standing collar with yellow band.

Red cord. .

Dark blue hat “sjako “ style, with red/black plume set on a copper plate and orange badge in the form of a springing grenade with open flame and copper chain.

Drummers wear epaulettes at the shoulders.

Rank ribbons in the style of 1888 .

Black leather  cross-belt with copper plate and Engineers’ Regiment emblem.
